Everything rises and falls on leadership. Excellent leadership equals excellent results and poor leadership yields very bad outcomes. The general story has been one of scarcity of visionary and excellent leadership which has kept the many from rising to their true potentials and taking their place on the world stage. This situation has created a really hostile environment that makes the pursuit of excellence a more difficult one for its citizens.
However in these harsh and terrible conditions there are exceptional men and women all over the continent who have relentlessly pursued excellence and have achieved it against all odds.
These are role models that have proven through their stories that excellence can be achieved anywhere in the world no matter the prevailing conditions. These high performing role models have rich experiences that are a goldmine and legacy that they must not carry to the grave with them but must bequeath their lessons to the upcoming generation.
One of our core beliefs at Strategic Global Mentorship (SGM) is that under the right conditions any person or entity anywhere on the face of the earth can achieve greatness in life as long as they are passionately committed to the continuous pursuit of excellence. One of those right conditions on the journey of pursuit of excellence is Mentorship. Mentorship provides a dependable roadmap on how to navigate the pathway of achieving your dreams and purpose in life.
Appreciating the critical role mentoring plays in the pursuit of excellence SGM has developed a global mentorship platform to bridge the gap between global leaders and the new generation of leaders on the global stage. We believe we owe it to the world to make this platform happen based on the opportunities and privilege of access we have had on our journey before now.
Our founder, Ambassador Aminu A. Wisdom, was Nigeria’s ambassador to ECOWAS for many years that had the rare privilege of meeting and working with world leaders like Barack Obama, Bill Gates, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, John Maxwell and many more leaders that have shaped our world. SGM believes that we are doing a disservice to the world if we don’t make this happen.
That is why this mentoring platform is a high profile platform that brings together some of the greatest global leaders like current and past presidents, entrepreneurs, religious leaders who are willing to mentor a younger generation. Going through our mentorship platform will make it clear that we have what it takes to make this happen.
